Usually you'll have the fat covering your abs. Here is a short list of some of the best lower abdominal exercises for "Womens Abs" you should be using periodically in your exercise program. Keep in mind however that these are not the only lower ab exercises that are effective - there are plenty more. Knee Ups: On a flat suface, and place your hands underneath your lower back to support your body. Then, Lean back until your torso is at a 45-degree angle. Next, extend your legs until they are almost straightened, and pull your knees towards your chest and flex your neck at the same time. This will allow your head to curl toward your knees. (That will garauntee maximum abdominal contraction). Once you've done that, return to the starting position. Repeat these steps and you'll have the abs you've dreamed for in no time. Womens Abs Bicycle Crunch Exercise: Lay flat on your back as if doing crunches. Lift your legs up, parallel to the floor, but not resting. Begin the excercise just like a normal crunch as you lift your upper shoulders away from the floor in a twisting motion. Perfom a "shoulder at a time" crunch ina bicycle motion by bringing one knee to the opposite elbow and vice versa. Repeat for desired abs. Oblique Crunch: Lie on your back, knees bent, and feet flat on the floor. Drop your legs to the left and allow your knees rest near the floor. Put your hands behind your head and do a sideway crunch, and go back to the starting position. Repeat for your desired abs.
