Create a Smokey Eye

Eye concelear, this helps your eye lids recieve color. To prepare your eye lids, you should consider choosing a primer, my preference is Macs' Prep+Prime. This will prevent lids from creasing, keeps lids oil free, and allow the eyeshadow to be applied on without any cakey clumps. You will also need Two eye shadows: one lighter than the other. This will allow you to blend the darker eye shadow onto the lighter one to compliment eachother and create a more dramatic look for the eye. Dark Eyeliner: To also create a more dramatic, eye catching eye.I would recommend a black pencil. All necessary makeup brushes and Mascara for the finishing touch. Now, heres' where the fun begins. The Smokey Eye Application shlinda holliday With your black or dark colored eye pencil, outline your entire eye. Step 1 Make the line thicker along the upper lashes. Step 2Then grab a brush and apply you base eye shadow (lighter eye shadow) onto the eyelid, care to cover the entire lid about half way up to the brows. Step 3Contour and blend your darker eyeshadow around the lighter eyeshadow and into the crease of your eye, creating a horizontal V on the corner of your lid. FYI, the "Crease" is the skin between the lid of your eye, and your brow bone. Step4 Fill the crease with the darker eyeshadow, take your time to blend, it can be a little complicated for the 1st try. Last StepRepeat the previous steps as needed to achieve a deep dramatic shade. The key thing is to blend the contouring shadows until you get your desired look. Complete the look with several coats of mascara.
